AQUALAD

Aqualad was Aquaman's teenage partner, and like many other such "kid sidekick" popular in the Silver Age, his powers originally varied very little from his mentor. Aqualad was a founding member of the Teen Titans, beside Robin and Kid Flash.

This version of his costume was used in the Wolman/Grummett era, in the 90´s.

Some years after that, Garth adopted the name Tempest and gained new powers.

UNMASKED TIMES

In the 70´s the Teen Titans left behind the super-hero costumes and included a wealthy benefactor named Mr. Jupiter. The Titans tackled social issues as never before, choosing not to use their powers and attempting to solve problems as ordinary citizens.

Anyone is able to recognize the Teen Titans without their masks?

LOOK AT YOU, MR. DUNCAN

In Teen Titans #49 (August 1977), Bumblebee is introduced to the team and she didn´t had a better idea that change the uniform of her boyfriend, Mal Duncan. And this is the result:

Mal Duncan

In fact, the uniform was designed by the fan Dave Elyea.

In the same edition of the Teen Titans, Mal left the new uniform, returning to be the Guardian, because the Horn was stolen, and his friends did not know about that. So, as the Guardian, Mal don´t have to use the Horn.

And this is the final picture: The New Teen Titans Vs. The X-Men, a new reinterpretation of CROSSOVER CLASSICS´s cover, drawn originally by George Pérez, redrawn and colored by me.

This is a little tiny sample of the original.
