I think is pretty obvious how this man influenced me over the years, most of my childhood happy moments were related to comics and super-heroes, and George Pérez was a big part of it. Since the moment I knew about his medical condition last december, I inmediatelly started to work on something to homage this incredible and talented man, so I did this drawing of him surrounded by the most prominent characters he created/work over the years. This was my way to say "THANK YOU" for the inspiration and for the endless and happy moments he gave me with his art.
Rest in Peace George Perez.

Alex, this is wonderful! George was a dear friend. Thank you for including the Sirens characters! His last project. Though I will admit,.. I'm a little jealous that my character Niada didn't make the cut. ;-) George would have absolutely loved this!! Thank you so much!
ResponderEliminarYou are welcome Diana!. I wanted to include all the characters George created and work over the years, and there were a lot to choose. So I included only a few of them, at least the more importants in his career: Titans, JLA, Avengers, Fantastic 4, etc, and of course Sirens had to be there. Sorry if I didn´t include Niada, I wish I have more room to include more characters.
EliminarI miss uncle George. He made other childhoods better however, his was not.
